Sharkeya Governorate celebrates every year with one of the most enjoyable festivals of Arabian horses 2 September in Cairo-Belbes desert road, Egypt. Some Arabian and Foreign countries participate in the festival such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, America, England, Germany, Austria and Belgium, in addition to Egypt.

The jockeys are looking forward to winning president Mubarak?s cup of show jumping championship. This festivsl is supported by Ministry of Tourism, National Council of Sport and also World Arabian Horse Organization (W.A.H.O).

Alexandria Film Festival is annual celebration in Egypt, which is held every year in September in Alexandria. The Festival is organized by The Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics.
Alexandria Film Festival is one of the festivals that aim to show cultural films to enhance the relationship between the makers of the film and the cinema in the world.
The Festival concentrates on Mediterranean countries productions.The first prize for best movie was awarded to Spanish production The Sea Side in the 2005 festival, while Arnoud Depletion (Kings and Queen, France) won the prize for best director.

Luxor city celebrates every year with the discovery of Tutankhamen Tomb. This annual event is organized by Luxor City Council. The festival commemorates the day of discovering the tomb of Tutankhamen on 4 November 1922,about 3500 years after the boy king was mummified.
The Festival is inspired by the ancient Opet, an Egyptian ceremony that commemorated the annual reunion of the Sacred Theban Triad (God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu) during the reign of King Tutankhamen.
